Hotline Miami [Steam store page]
Prepare to enjoy smashing open heads with a bat, slitting throats, and shooting enemies at breakneck speed in a psychedelic environment.

Furious Angels [Steam store page]
Simple yet elegant gameplay. This is a great example of how to make a game engaging but super accessible.

Space Pirates and Zombies [Steam store page]
Slow but solid gameplay, though there are some major balance/difficulty issues - and to counteract those you need to grind quite a bit. The graphics are similar to a space RTS, though you have far less units than a normal RTS.

The Binding of Isaac [Steam store page]
Decent mechanics but disgusting theme. Enemies can shoot diagonally, you can't. The bad hit-boxes on arrows are frustrating, making yours regularly miss enemies and allowing enemies to occasionally hit you through walls. Made with Flash, low res.

Frozen Synapse [Steam store page]
A challenging turn-based squad tactics game, though sometimes the previews are completely wrong. Sadly, game invites pop up even when you're marked unavailable or playing single-player. You must completely exit a level to adjust resolution or sound.

Anomaly: Warzone Earth [Steam store page]
A tower defense role-reversal where you control the attacking units. It lacks the ability to stop or reverse your units, leaving you to determine the route and do repairs and special abilities. A bit unforgiving, requiring no casualties on normal.

Atom Zombie Smasher [Steam store page]
Fairly easy on default, yet nearly impossible to win without using the chooser or combatant modifier - since it often gives you a poor selection of mercenaries. The balance could use a bit of work, since chooser lets you faceroll - but overall fun.

Shadowgrounds [Steam store page]
A reasonably fun top-down shooter with a sci-fi storyline. The NPCs occasionally block your movement during combat - luckily they don't seem to take team damage. The flashlight also runs out of batteries slowly, which pulls you out of the game a bit.

Revenge of the Titans [Steam store page]
A tower defence game that keeps you on your toes. There are tons of upgrades and not enough time to buy all of them - you definitely won't get through all the levels on the first try.

Grand Theft Auto [Steam store page]
Top down 2D game with much the same goal as the more recent titles - cause chaos. Not a whole lot to it.
